On December 14th, MHCA conducted a Blood Drive on Campus.  The Blood Drive was held to support Jillian Gorman, a junior at the Academy, who has been diagnosed with Leukemia (AML).  She is now in the process of receiving chemotherapy and eventually a bone marrow transplant.  Through the generous support of students, faculty, sisters, parents and friends 64 pints of blood were collected.  Additionally, many other people donated at the regional blood bank.  Jillian and the Gorman Family wish to extend to all who gave or wished to give at sincere Thank You!  We all wish Jillian a speedy recovery and a return to full health.  All of us at MHCA want her back with her family and her extended Salesian family.
