STANDARDS
FOR SUCCESS
GRADING
SYSTEM
There
are four marking periods of approximately nine weeks in
the school calendar. Grades given each quarter reflect student
performance on home and class assignments, quizzes, tests,
varied assessments and participation.
- 93-100%
A = Superior
- 85-
92% B = High Average
- 77-
84% C = Average
- 70-
76% D = Below Average
below 70% F = Failure (requiring summer school)
- Incomplete
I = This allows a grace period because of extended illness
or other serious extenuating circumstances. The student
will have three weeks from the end of the marking period
to make up the missing work. After that time, the teacher
will submit the grade earned to the main office. Work
not completed may result in a failing grade for that quarter.
