Theresa Cabrera is a member of the Mary Help of Christians Parent Teacher Guild since 2016. She has served two terms as Vice President and is currently serving as the PTG President. She has three children: her oldest graduated from St. Joe’s Regional High School and is now a senior at SUNY College of New Paltz studying Visual Arts; her daughter is a senior at MHCA and hopes to study Chemistry in college next year; her youngest son is a freshman at Don Bosco Prep. She and her husband strongly believe in the value of a Catholic education. All three children graduated from St. John’s Academy in Hillsdale where she herself has been a Spanish teacher for eighteen years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Montclair State University and is currently in the final stages of her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning English at Liberty University. She is an active member of her parish, St. Francis of Assisi in Ridgefield Park, as a lector and member of the Faith Formation team.
