Lacrosse

Team Information : Varsity Lacrosse is a Spring Sport at MHC Academy. Lacrosse tryouts are held in March, and the season goes until late May.

2023 Season Recap: This was the first spring season that the Lacrosse Team competed at a Varsity level since spring of 2015. Stat leaders included: Senior Captain Shannon Stix (‘23) who lead the team offensively with 37 goals this season. Stix will now hold the school record of MOST GOALS IN A SINGLE SEASON. Once held by Class of 2015 Alumna, Elizabeth Livi, who had 29 goals. Stix is followed in goals by sophomore Liliana Eastlake (‘25) 15 goals and fellow Senior Olivia Fanning (‘23) 13 goals.

Other stat leaders for the season include:

POINTS : Stix 42, Eastlake 17, & Fanning 14; GROUND BALLS : Stix 47, sophomore Scarlett Black (‘25) 32, Eastlake 30, Fanning 26, & Sophomores Emily Dymkowski (‘25) and Adanya Sullivan (‘25) both with 17; DRAW CONTROLS : Stix 39, Fanning 13, Eastlake & Dymkowski 5 each; FORCED TURNOVERS : Sophomore Madison Oh (‘25) 25, Stix 23, and Black 15.

The 2022 team graduated four Seniors. Varsity starters : #2 Olivia Fanning (M,D), #22 Nora Maloney (A,D), #8 Kaithlyn Santiago (Goalie), #21 Shannon Stin (M,A).

2022 Season Recap: The JV Lacrosse Team played hard in their first season together and are looking to build on their success in future season. Captain Shannon Stix ‘23, led the team with 14 goals in 4 games, followed by fellow classmate, Co-Captain Olivia Fanning ‘23, with 6 goals.
