Team Information: Varsity Soccer is a Fall Sport at MHC Academy under the direction of second year coach, Mr. Ken Van Rye. This year, our Soccer Program will be playing an independent schedule.

Season Summary: Great strides for the 2017 Soccer Team despite starting the season without an experienced goal keeper and starting three freshmen at key positions.

The Blue Jays with a roster of 14 players worked hard and tirelessly in each and every game.  The team's hard work resulted in finishing the season with a winning record of 8-7, and earned a chance to participate in the State Tournament.
The defense, lead by Captain Allyson Swartzberg '18 and Captain in waiting Alleyna Jean-Philippe '19, produced over 100 scoreless minutes on several occasions. Both players were recognized by gaining Honorable Mention All-Passaic County.
Offensively Sophomore, striker, Emily Toresi smashed the single season school record for goals scored by netting 28. Toresi was awarded Second Team all-Passaic County for her efforts.
