Marie Hess Memorial Fund

The Marie Hess Memorial Fund honors the memory of Marie Hess who taught at Mary Help of Christians Academy for over twenty years. Through her classes, labs, and the health care connections program, Marie shaped generations of Mary Help students into women with a love for the sciences and learning. Her own enthusiasm for the art of health care lives on in the women who were her students and have now entered the health care field.

 

The Marie Hess Memorial Fund was established in her memory, to honor her years of sacrifice and dedication, giving countless extra Saturdays and after school hours, and the very best of herself to her students. She was proud to be a Salesian educator who mentored other teachers and inspired young women to dream and achieve greatness. 

 

Through the Marie Hess Memorial Fund, Mary Help of Christians Academy will continue Marie Hess' legacy of offering its student the very best opportunities in a supportive and loving educational environment. The funds raised will make a direct impact on the teachers and students by meeting their areas of greatest need on campus.
