In our first year of competition, our Forensics Team, led by sophomore co-captains Hai-yan Koenig and Maya Watters, distinguished itself at multiple meets being recognized for outstanding performances. Receiving accolades this season were Emilia Cabaero, Isabel Condon, Hai-yan Koenig, Nora Maloney, Claudia Olivero, and Maya Watters. In early February, Hai-yan earned the rare distinction of a perfect score for the day. At the Grand Tournament on Saturday, February 29th, one of our newest members, freshmen Meghan Rydell, was recognized for excellence in Original Oratory. She took home a fifth place trophy in a very crowded field of experienced competitors. The team would like to thank Ms. Church, Mrs.Evans, Mrs. Hess, Mr. Sullivan and a fabulous group of parents for their support this year. Team coach Mrs. Sullivan couldn’t be prouder of this young team and looks forward to its bright future.
