Alumnae

When deciding where to embark upon your academic journey for high school, it is important to consider your needs as a young woman - mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. The unique educational journey that I undertook at MHC Academy, because it focused on nurturing the whole person, not only equipped me with knowledge and skills, but also shaped my character, preparing me to lead a life of purpose, integrity, and service. MHC Academy provided me with the knowledge, discipline, and faith necessary to be successful and, more importantly, feel fulfilled in my future.

Attending Mary Help of Christians Academy shaped me into a hardworking, successful, spiritually strong, and independent woman. My innate gifts were recognized and nurtured by teachers and Salesian Sisters who cared about me as an individual. The rigorous academic environment, emphasizing both excellence and ethics, instilled in me a solid work ethic and a relentless pursuit of joy in everything that I do. Surrounded by a community of like-minded young women, I developed a sense of community and gained a new family.

MHC Academy provides an atmosphere for students to learn how to use their voices and prepares them to tackle challenges head-on. The spiritual guidance and values imparted through MHC Academy’s Catholic education helped me solidify what my family passed on to me and deeply rooted me in my faith, providing a moral compass and a source of strength throughout life's trials. I am a better nurse today because Mary Help of Christians Academy was part of my yesterday.
