About Mrs. Marisol Kozlovski
With degrees in English, Spanish, and Communication from St. Bonaventure University, Mrs. Kozlovski comes to MHCA with a wide range of skills and qualifications. She has over thirty years of experience in performance in al aspects theatrical, both on stage and in stagecraft; volunteer work with many children's programs; and almost two decades as a catechist at Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes.
Both her art and sewing classes take a practical, applied approach to skill development. In art classes, students will also learn how to set profit margins and sales goals, how to market their work, critique art, create and continually revise a portfolio. In sewing classes, students will also learn business techniques, resourcing materials, and decision-making.
Mrs. Kozlovski comes from a long tradition of fiber artists and has taught sewing and knitting professionally at both large-scale craft stores and on the local level. Her list of accomplishments reads like the resume of Dolly Levy in HELLO DOLLY. This includes fifteen+ years in textbook publishing and being a former NJ State Archery champion in Women's Compound Bow. Whether she is at a local faire or charity event performing, altering costumes backstage, knitting another gift, or selling a variety of handmade crafts at a Vendor fair, Mrs. Koz loves being creative. She is very glad to be a member of the MHCA family.
