About Mrs. Katie Caufield

I always knew I wanted to be involved in education. When I was in second grade, the Catholic school I attended closed. Although I was devastated, I was able to bring home a collection of textbooks, workbooks, and, most importantly, the teachers' editions. From that point on, I was hooked. I would play 'school' non-stop! As I grew older, my love for education never wavered. 

 

My first teaching position was at a middle school in Paterson, NJ, where I taught Mathematics and Science. My passion for Science continued to grow, and I was fortunate to teach the subject for many years. I was also blessed with the opportunity to teach at the Elementary level as well as Basic Skills, experiences that allowed me to work with and learn from students across a variety of grade levels.

 

After completing my Master's degree in Educational Leadership, I discovered a new home and passion at MHC Academy. Today, I am grateful to continue working in education while helping ensure that our students and families have a wonderful educational experience here at the Academy.
