Quotes from our Seniors
SENIOR ATHLETE FALL SPOTLIGHT
This Fall we had thirteen seniors participating in our three Varsity Sports that were offered; Soccer (6), Tennis (3) and Cheerleading (4). Each of our Seniors became a part of our Athletic Program their freshmen year! When asking our seniors if they wanted to continue playing their sport in college, the majority said intramurals or club teams only, definitely for fun, because they want to concentrate on their studies!
As some are still deciding on where they plan to continue their education next year, some of their majors will include Education (Early Childhood, Special Education) Interior Design, Architecture, Accounting, International Business, Criminology, Exercise Science, Political Science and a few for Nursing!

ADVICE FOR UNDERCLASSMEN…

"Find your passion and pursue it. Try not to be too hard on yourself when you fail or make a mistake. Always have trust in God and his timing." – Dori, Soccer

"Keep working hard. You can never practice too much because you will only be improving your own abilities. Treat every practice/game like it is your last. You never know when these things can be taken away from you so it is important to appreciate them while we have them." – Paige, Cheer

"Do not be afraid to try something new. Always play and practice like it is your last time. Always remember to have fun." – Jesley, Soccer

"Try your hardest, and ask for help, your team wants to be the best they can, they’ll be more than willing to help." – Brittani, Cheer

"Don’t be afraid to try a new sport and get out of your comfort zone!" – Brianna, Tennis

"Enjoy the time you have to play and work hard. Your team is your family and should be one of your greatest commitments. When you commit yourself, put your all in and work hard (even outside of practice)." – Kayla, Soccer

"Enjoy the whole season, have fun, and support each other as teammates so no one feels like they are not a part of the team." – Courtney, Soccer

"Be nice to each other because the more problems you create the less fun the four years will be. Be a positive influence in each other’s lives. It’s only four years and if you spend it wisely it will be worth any struggle. Being nice to other encouraged positivity and friendship in our class and it was worth it." – Emma, Cheer

"To never give up and keep pushing. Do your best at practice so you can better and prepared for the big games." – Alyssa, Soccer

"Open yourself up to new experiences and to respect your coaches & teammates. Be understanding about receiving constructive criticism from coaches & teammates." – Paris, Cheer

"Just have fun and enjoy every moment." – Anna,Tennis

"Keep pushing when faced with adversity, and do not give up. You are the only one who can restrict your passion. No one else can limit you, do not be the one to do so for yourself. All it takes is one opportunity, seize it." – Savannah, Soccer

"Try out for the sport you’re scared of trying out for. Get close to your teammates. Cherish the time you have as a team…I know my tennis team has been a family for me and I really am sad that it’s over." – Mary, Tennis
