Piano
Mrs. Irene Serdsev is an educator specialized in teaching languages and music, particularly piano, musicianship, and choral singing. She grew up in a multilingual family, in which music played an important role. Mrs. Serdsev’s grandfather was a violinist, her first music mentor, and lifelong partner in making music. With his guidance, she started playing piano at four years old, and went on to study piano at the State Conservatory of Northern Greece, while simultaneously earning her degree in French. Upon completion, she enrolled in the department of Musicology at the Sorbonne IV University in Paris. Now for more than 35 years, she teaches piano and musicianship to students of all ages, while also conducting children’s choir groups.
