Camp Employment

Camp welcomes men and women who have completed their freshman year of high school to serve in a volunteer capacity as Junior Counselors, under the guidance of an adult staff member. Adults may apply for paid staff positions.

Please download and complete the appropriate application. All materials must be emailed to [email protected] by March 15 to be considered for this camp season.

All camp staff are required to attend in-person mandatory trainings prior to the start of the 2024 Camp Season.

These on-site sessions will cover Salesian Charism training, however prospective adult staff are asked to independently fulfill:

Fingerprinting and provide a letter of clearance from the State of New Jersey by May 1. Information will be provided following the initial interview.
The CPR/AED/First Aid Certification before June 1. Visit https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class for more information.
Protecting God's Children training requirements before June 1. Visit virtusonline.org for more information regarding the sessions and available training sites.

Note: The fingerprinting and Protecting God's Children requirements apply only to those applicants/volunteers who will be 18 years of age or older at their time of work/service.
