Sr. Margaret Wilhelm, FMA

Sr. Margaret Wilhelm, FMA is the current Treasurer for the Salesian Sisters' Province of St. Joseph (the Missionary Society of the Salesian Sisters and Les Soeurs Salesiennes). Her studies in philosophy and theology at Don Bosco College were followed by a B.A. in Math from William Paterson and an M.A. in Educational Leadership at Seton Hall University. She previously taught junior high students in Paterson and in Tampa and was Director of Religious Education in several area parishes. A past pupil of MHCA, she was on staff there for a total of nineteen years, as a teacher of religion, the math department chair, and eventually the principal. She has long been part of the formation program of the Province, assisting women at various stages of their discernment journey towards vowed life as Salesian Sisters. She is currently on the Board for the St. Philip the Apostle Foundation, and teaches philosophy at Assumption College for Sisters. She is excited to see the Academy move forward in establishing a Board and is honored to be involved at this historic juncture.
