Courtney J. Peterson

Courtney J. Peterson graduated from MHCA in the year 2000. Thereafter, she attended college at Rutgers University, and graduated summa cum laude, with a double major in Psychology and Political Science in 2004. She then obtained a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law in 2007. After graduating from NYU, she went on to become an associate at the international law firm of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Currently, she is a senior associate in the law firm’s commercial disputes practice. She focuses on helping clients find solutions to their problems, either through litigation, or by resolving disputes before a lawsuit is filed. Courtney deeply enjoyed the years she spent at MHCA, which shaped the person she is today. She is excited to join the MHCA’s Inaugural Board of Trustees, and is motivated to assist in furthering MHCA's legacy and commitment to the young women who attend the academy.
